The Shri Sant Gadage Baba Hindi Mahavidyalaya established by the Hindi Seva Mandal was established in the year 1989. It is a solely affiliated college of the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University in Nagpur dedicated to educating students through the medium of Hindi. The college plays an important role in promoting and disseminating the Hindi language in the non-Hindi speaking ambit. Our mother organization the Hindi Seva Mandal is actively involved in carrying out this significant mission. This institution has received recognition as a minority institution.
In our college students from both the Arts and Commerce streams ranging from Hindi speakers to those whose mother tongue is Hindi are being educated. In addition to academic activities our college endeavors to nurture students in various dimensions of personality development. Cultural clubs sports departments National Service Scheme etc are organized to groom students into well-rounded individuals. These initiatives aim to equip students with the skills and knowledge they need to become successful citizens and achieve success in life.
The university has established various achievements in its journey of the past 33 years. In terms of co-education the university has set up a Women's Grievance Redressal Committee to assist female students as well as a Career Guidance and Counseling Cell to provide employment opportunities. These initiatives have been helpful in supporting the progress of students.
On August 13,1950 ,the foundation of the primary school was laid under the leadership of Ms. Rani Devi Johari. The institution encompasses a rich legacy, spanning from the primary to secondary and high school, junior and senior college, Vocational Training Center, and the Engineering College. Additionally, the institution is adorned with various state of the art facilities such as Maharana Pratap Physical Education Hall (Health Club), the swimming pool, and other distinctive features, constituting the diverse activities of this establishment.
The Hindi Seva Mandal Bhusawal is going to celebrate the upcoming year with the Amrit Mahotsav. It is our privilege that in the past seven decades, it has continued to receive blessing from many grate personalities, including former honorable Lal Bahadur Shashri, Babu Jagjivan Ram, Indira Gandhi, the Chief Justice of India, Mr. Venkatraman Ayyar, and spiritually enriched revered saint Gadge Baba, Rashtrasant Shri Tukdoji Maharaj, Pujyapad Shri Shankaracharya Karvirmath, Indian philosopher Rajneesh Osho gave blessing to teacher, students and staff of the Mandal.
